A Sea of Red

The colour red lies at the heart of Kankupagla, the sacred Kanku that marks every new beginning.

The Colour Red

In Gujarati culture, red symbolizes auspiciousness, prosperity, strength, devotion, and celebration. It is the colour of Kanku, the sacred vermilion that marks new beginnings and blessings.

The Sea of Red

When thousands gather dressed in red, the grounds transform into a breathtaking visual phenomenon, a living symbol of collective energy, cultural pride, and shared celebration.

A Ritual of Unity

The dress code is not merely aesthetic; it is a ritual of unity. Every participant becomes part of a larger story, creating an unforgettable experience that defines Kankupagla.
